Turning the tables and learning to love my husband

Ok. So I apologize in advance for this being a saga of my life the past five years. But it is my blog. And you are choosing to read it. And continuing on to this sentence too. So the joke is on you really for being somewhat entertained (or bored enough) to read my blog. Or you just want to know your life is better than mine.  A little over five years ago, I married the love of my life. Little did I know the journey that my husband, Tyler, and I would go on. He would become my best friend and confidant. I had no idea what marriage is really like. Everyone talks about rainbows and sunshine, but they rarely mention the storms. The roller coaster of ups and downs. The time where two people in love can just not want to be around each other. I also didn't realize how crazy I was. I mean, my mom and dad did. For crying out loud, my dad even warned Tyler (or tried) about who he was marrying and what he was getting into. I don't think he ever really grasped the idea of just how crazy I ...

Quotes and stuff. . .

Every now and then in life, you have an experience. Good-bad, GREAT-terrible, dream worthy-nightmarish. I think I am going through something in my life that's changing. . . For the better? Let's hope. Since I am not a "talker of feelings/emotions/happy things/sad things/things that make you cry/etc", and my favorite thing to do is to hold things in, I like to find quotes. Quotes from the scriptures, from old talks, from books, from TV shows, movies, from ANYTHING! I've posted a blog before with quotes a like, so I am going to post another blog with quotes that I use to get me through. Whether it be a bad day or a good day, a good quote can never be forgotten. So here are some quotes that I, especially now, really like. . . " Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens up your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all those defenses, you build up a...

GrrrrrrrrATE Accomplishments

So I was chatting it up with my little sister in the car yesterday and we were having a discussion. When i got off topic, which happens a lot (me being an easily distracted girl). ANYWAYS! Sheesh! I tell her of one of what one of my greatest accomplishments and goals in life are. However i need to start. . . . AT the beginning. Of yesterday that is. Actually it's more like the evening. My dearest mother of mine calls my lil' sister and I down to watch this television-o show with her, because she didn't want to watch it alone. Little did she remember that we all watched it together the first episode. What show? Any Dream Will Do! It's about boys, English boys with HOT accents, auditioning to be Joseph in Joseph and the Technicolor Coat . Verity and i both tell our mother that we love so much, that yes we have seen it, and we did in fact all watch it together. Well Verity has homework (lazy) and so i sit down and watch it. One HOOOOOOOTTY Taughty comes up to sing *chill...

Washington Dinner Count (DC)

Today The Binghams and i went to go to DC again today. I got to see the Lincoln Memorial, the Arlington graveyard, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Kennedy center. What else did i get to see? Too little a stroller for too many a babies! I will have to post a video that i made. . . it is QUITE hilarious. WAIT.AND.SEE! Why so funny? Let me just give you a background OKKKKKKKKK !! So everyone knows about the two seat stroller with one seat behind the other and the back seat lays back fully for possibly sleeping babies? GOOD! You know what I'm talking about! ok ! So imagine a 5, 4, 2, and 1 year old baby. ha! See it's already getting funnier. ok ! So Tad (5) is in the front seat, Daniel (2) is in the back seat along with Taylor (1, the little booty bumper) behind him. Try to picture with me just for a moment. Taylor not wanting to share so she sticks her little booty as far out as she can, in the process of hitting Daniel. Well, Daniel wasn't taking that without a stand, so h...

OK! So since I've been here in Virginia with my sister i have been remembering some old funny stories! SOOOOO. . . the kind person that i am decided to share some funny with you! 3. . .2. . .1. . .GO TIME! So the when my sister Caroline, and her hubby Troy and family were driving out to Virginia I had the pleasure of driving with them! NO! I love them! So it was fun! Well one of the days Troy get tired and Caroline takes over driving the moving truck and i driving her Yukon (i think that's what it is. Smaller sub)! Well as we're driving Caroline had one of her little rascals in the truck and they were getting hungry, so she decided to walkie-talkie us and say, "Hey there is a McDonalds at the next stop are you guys hungry?" *Notice we were going to stop at the "M" place anyways. I wanted to have a little fun and my handsome nephew Tad says "OH PLEAZE can we stop at MCDONALDS?!" This is how the conversation went from here Me "NO! WE're ...
