Soccer. . .

This is going to be a short post. However very learn-worthy. OK! So the other day I was asked by my friend Chris to go and play soccer with him and his friends. First let me tell you that, yes, I do love sports. But only sports that I am pretty good at. Now I can kick straight and hard. However when playing with BOYS who have been on teams, well. . . let's just say it was intimidating. To the point. Today, while driving to church, I saw some people playing the cherished game they love, soccer. I thought to myself, I REALLY do want to learn how to play. Well after watching, very carefully for I was still driving, I texted my friend Chris (this kid is amazing from what I've seen) and asked him to teach me how to play. Then later in the day he said, "Do you want me to teach the rules too?" And I replied, "Maybe another lesson. I don't really care about those. I mean if I'm being honest." So what did I learn today? To be honest and be praised for it! hah...

Again. . .

Two posts in one day. . . AGAIN! But technically since I am still kind of on Virginia time it's the next day! Take it however you please. Want to know a pet peeve of mine? It's great. Totally appropriate seeing as how I've just returned to my home in Arizona and to get home I had to take a plane. . . WEEEELL I'm going to shout out anyways and tell the world. Or the people who read my awesome-tastic blog. My pet peeve is: HATING PEOPLE WHO USE THEIR CELL PHONES ON THE AIR PLANE. Why does this bother me so? It's not because I am superstitious to any degree. Not entirely at least. However when THE CAPTAIN of the flying hunk of metal thousands of feet above the earth ground tells you to "Turn off you cell phones during the flight, UNTIL we get to [insert airport]," THEN JUST DO IT! This has happened one time before. Same airport. What do you NOT understand? What the freak is so important you put MY life in danger of crashing to a painful death, or painful surv...

Last Post

Don't worry! It's not my forever last post. Just my last post in Virginia for a little while. Pretty much, this summer has been AMAZING! Filled with learning, new friends, adventures, and great family. Have fun! Adios! (That's to get me back into the spirit of living around Mexicans for a while!)

A Whole Lot of Nonsense

This Monday, I helped my sister, Mombabe, move into her new townhouse. First, I would like to express how much MORE I absolutely LOVE this house! Compared to the other crap hole, it's pretty cute and amazing. She already has pictures and decorations hanging in the house. It is officially her own home! This Saturday I leave to go back home to Arizona. In some ways I am happy. In others, I am kind of sad. Virginia is a whole new world. It is filled with different people, different views, and different cultures. It is a beautiful state and I have met some really great people. When I first came so many months ago (May! Heck it's a long time! ha!) I was introduced to the sweetest girl, Mckenna. Now, let me tell you that I am not a girl person. Give me a boy to hang out with any day because, like me, they are straight up and know what's up. But Mckenna really helped me come alive in the church. She is so strong and through her example and kindness, is has made me strong. Like I ...

Sunday Talk-full-ness!

A few weeks ago I was dumped by a boy over the telephone (I didn't tell my mom I was dating this boy either). I couldn't understand why and I was blind in the fact that I did not see this coming whatsoever. I promised myself a few years ago that I would never cry over a boy, however, that has unfortunately been blown out of the water. I'm a girl, give me a break. I have a point to this, stay with me. Well, this boy is very nice, of course I didn't think so when I was bawling my eyes out for him. However he is. Well, the very next Sunday, like three days later, I was called to be a Sunday School teacher in my branch out here in Virginia while here for the summer. It was great, but I didn't understand why they would want me to be a Sunday School teacher. Yes, I can talk and talk and talk. But put me in front of an audience/crowd to speak publicly, and I become so nervous that I talk so fast it feels like I am humming a song. On Pioneer Day, one of the counselors asks ...

My Fed-UP Post!

Seriously!!!!! Ugh! Do you want to know what I am fed-up with? People thinking they are so much high and mightier than all the rest of us. Please let me just say that you need to step off your high horse, take a look at your world, then talk. I am pretty sure that your world isn't as " high and MIGHTY " as you make it out to be. Want to know what else? Back-talking. Yes, I am guilty of this, but please. . . The only reason you do it is because YOU ARE WRONG and you KNOW it. Yeah!! Back-talking may seem like you are all the more smart, let me deflate that big head. It's not, and neither are you. What else am i fed-up with? "One-Up-ing". I am also guilty of this. However I've grown out of it for the most part. So stop. This is a LOSE-LOSE situation. So again with the head deflating. I also am Fed-UP with the people that are self-centered and are constantly playing the victim card or the mayrter card. Please get over yourself. There's more that I...

Have You Ever. . .

Have you ever had the feeling where someone is staring at you? And you want to look so bad, but if no one is staring, then it's like you're the freak? Have you ever had a hair hanging onto the back of you tickling your arm? But you can't for the life of you see it. So then the problem is whether there is really a hair there or not. . . Have you ever gotten the chills? You do the whole "body roll" thing, and that ONE person ALWAYS sees you acting weird. Have you ever tried to open a locked door? Then even though it's locked, you try again JUST to make sure it really IS locked? Again, that one person sees you. . . I HAVE! Today in church I swear almost all of these happened to me. First I had the feeling someone was looking at me (I mean today is fast Sunday, testimony meeting, so someone could be staring me down to go up and fill the time in). So I turn to look, and turns out no one is. I'm just conceited (duh someone has to stare at me 24/7). ha! Then I ha...
