The Forsberg Family

Sunday's are always a little hectic in our home, like I'm sure it is in others! Tyler gets off work early that morning, so sleeps until the very last minute. Meanwhile Ridge and I are up. Ridge watching me and playing in the bathroom as I do my hair and makeup, but also making sure mom has a lot of distractions!  Today we were running late! Actually to be honest, we are always late. No matter how hard I try:( But back on track. We sat out in the foyer. Then Tyler and I tried nursery for Ridge so that we could go to Sunday school! It was great. I got to listen to the lesson, Tyler got to catch up on some sleep (he got off at 4 am, church at 9 am), and Ridge? He did GREAT in nursery!! Didn't care that we left him and the teachers said he was so fun and good. Thank goodness!  Once we got home, we tried putting Ridge down for a nap. I feel like we haven't been going out as often because it's been so hot and draining. But the last couple days, the weather has been beautiful. Raining and cloudy. Just gorgeous. So today before it could really start raining, we enjoyed some fun.  Tyler and Ridge played at the playground while I set up our blanket in the shade! Then after swinging, they came back. Ridge went off adventuring, then Tyler went! They found a beetle and Ridge was trying to squash him and move him with a stick! Thankfully I was far away! I can't handle bugs.  Tyler was throwing little acorns at Ridge and I! Ridge LOVES sticks. And rocks. And pretty much everything. Total kid! Ridge trying to catch the acorns that Tyler was throwing at us. Haha! I love this stance!!  Ridge likes to swing like big kids and on laps too. But those baby swings, forget it!! So our Forsberg family has been so very busy since my last post. Cutie Ridge turned ONE in April. I have a one year old!! And not only that, but he is 16 months old now! We had a little family get together for his birthday. Just my parents, my sister Verity, her husband Jake and their cutie pie Gwen. We had smoked meat and steamed asparagus! Then OBVIOUSLY cake and ice cream. Our local Bashas sent a coupon for a free birthday cake for Ridge. It was great! We all had fun.  But that was April. So what's been going on since then? Well... We found out we are expecting another little baby. CRAZY!!  We are so very excited to be welcoming another baby. But we didn't find out what we were having for a long time.
