March 25

It's getting close to the end of the month and I realized I hadn't yet written a little tiff of my life down for you folks.

I am officially less than a month from my due date. This is both exciting and nerve racking. I have no idea what I need, but also feel that I have too much of things. What I do have a LOT of are questions. Thankfully, people are always willing to give advice and their answers. I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and my doctor asked if I had been having contractions... My answer? "I have no clue! I think so, but am not really SURE what they feel like." I explained what I had heard and said I get that. Then Doc, COOLEST GUY EVER, explained what they kind of are. I replied I had been having the "test trial" ones. So all is good. And little man is head down!!! I'm so very excited to meet him. Literally any day, but hopefully NOT in March! haha.

Anyways, remember the blog about books and book clubs? I just finished with a choice one of my sister's had. And it. Was. Great! It's called the Killing Floor by Lee Child. A Jack Reacher novel. The book Jack Reacher is nothing like the Tom Cruise version. Blech! But yeah. The other day I was at a tire shop getting a better tire for my car after mine had blown. There was a man there as well driving a semi truck and he also had a blown tire. I was with my hubs, and while he was chatting away, I was reading. The truck driver asked what book I was reading, to which I held up and told him matter-of-factly what I was reading. He had read the books and was asking my opinion. We got to chatting about the book and the movie, no comparison. It was great. I'm not much of a talker to strangers. But it was nice. Books are the doorway to nice people.

Well, my baby is going CRAZY right now and I need to get going.

Adios!

Thanks for the update!

I checked the Killing Floor out from the library, but don't know where it is. I put it somewhere safe, so my kids wouldn't get it and lost it. Haha! I'm glad to hear you liked it. That's two sisters who liked the book. :)

I'm so glad you like my boyfriend. It validates my life.

I would also be validated if you named your baby after me. You could name him Carl. Or Charles. Then we would call him Charlie, and he would be just like me, which means you would love him EXTRA lots. Because I'm very lovable you know. ;)
