Have You Ever. . .

Have you ever had the feeling where someone is staring at you? And you want to look so bad, but if no one is staring, then it's like you're the freak? Have you ever had a hair hanging onto the back of you tickling your arm? But you can't for the life of you see it. So then the problem is whether there is really a hair there or not. . . Have you ever gotten the chills? You do the whole "body roll" thing, and that ONE person ALWAYS sees you acting weird. Have you ever tried to open a locked door? Then even though it's locked, you try again JUST to make sure it really IS locked? Again, that one person sees you. . .

I HAVE! Today in church I swear almost all of these happened to me. First I had the feeling someone was looking at me (I mean today is fast Sunday, testimony meeting, so someone could be staring me down to go up and fill the time in). So I turn to look, and turns out no one is. I'm just conceited (duh someone has to stare at me 24/7). ha! Then I had an hair on me, in Sunday school. Not only was the hottie-off-limits-aka-the-current-missionary-of-my-ward (shhhh. . . that's a secret! haha! And he wants to write to me! SCORE one for the off limits boy!) watching my helpless search for this stupid hair, but so was my friend Chris and some random kid. So again I felt like a freak. Then I had the whole CHILL thing. haha! Man, I was entertaining. OH, the last! SO I'm walking out to the car and as I reach in my purse I accidentally hit the panic button on the keys, so it's honking like crazy until I pull the keys out from my purse, and hit the panic button. Only to get to the car, and try to open the locked door. I unlocked it, got in, and laughed really hard to myself. I am so funny!

I am a nerd and being such nerd I like to go and look for AWESOME quotes and post them as my book de face, facebook, status. Well I like them SO MUCH that I'm going to give you a taste of what my facebook stuff is like.

“Forbidden pleasures alone are loved immoderately; when lawful, they do not excite desire.”

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes." - Marcel Proust, a French Novelist

“Change is the essence of life.Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.”

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." Peter Drucker

"...but that doesn't give them the right to decide the meaning of my life as if I were some dream. I decide the meaning. If my life is a dream then it's my dream, I'm the dreamer." Orson Scott Card

“Love is when you shed a tear and still want him, it's when he ignores you and you still love him, it's when he loves another girl but you still smile and say I'm happy for you, when all you really do is cry.”

"... if he was a good man, how could he leave me? So he must not be a good man. But if he isn't good, then why does it hurt so much to lose him?" Orson Scott card from Enchantment. Ruthie thinking abut Ivan (ee-vahn)

“Love isn't finding a perfect person. It's seeing an imperfect person perfectly.”

"Like running the hurdles. Work so hard, jump over every one, fast, high enough but no higher, because you can't afford to hang in the air. And then, when the race is over, you're dripping with sweat, either they beat you or you beat them ... and then a couple of guys come out and move the hurdles out of the way. Turns out they were nothing. All that work to jump over them, but now they're gone." Orson Scott Card

"Your mother surrounds you every moment," she said. "I know, because I feel her love for you in my own arms, around you now." Orson Scott Card

"There are three kinds of people. Suckers, Victims, and Grown-ups. Being a Grown-up, means choosing your own destiny"

Those are only some quotes I really like!

That's all for now!

Peace!

Great quotes! Btw, when you're done with that OSC book, I'd like to borrow it from you, if you don't mind. Sounds like a good read.

And how is it that I did not know this hair thing was going on during sunday school?! lol. I must have really been into the lesson or something...

haha! Thank you! I'm pretty sure when the hair thing was happening you were reading. Ha! I was left to fend for myself, whilst looking a fool!

Enchantment by Orson Scott Card. SO GOOD! ha!
