A holiday to celebrate. So as most of you know, or may not know, I am visiting
my sister in Virginia for the summer. And visiting so close to D.C.
has it advantages. One of them is that D.C. being the capital
of the United States has the BEST parades on the Fourth
of July. I have always wanted to go and see the
fireworks and parades and concerts.
The fireworks and concerts part will have to wait,
especially paired with children under the age of 6 who don't
really have the patience with such nonsense of sitting and waiting for
people marching around in costumes (PRETTY costumes). LUCKILY i got to go and
see the parade with them. I brought my camera and took some picture, but my sister takes
better pictures and while rampaging through her computer, knowing she has better
pictures, i found this one. It is SO dang cute. It's with my adorable little
niece and we're both sporting our holiday spirits by wearing RED,
(Plus it shows off my cute new hair cut, that i didn't tell my mom
about but freak, you have to agree that it's dang cute. Just shorter for
the summer weather and with a little more layers. Bangs remained
un-cut because i'm growing them out!)

Check us out! Like i said CUTE! This is my favorite picture

Riding home on the Metro.

We are actively involved in watching the parade! And looking good
while doing so is just a positive!

Well this is my post! Take it or leave it!
